What happens during a therapy session?

You’ll talk with your therapist about your concerns, and they’ll guide you through techniques to address your challenges. Each session is tailored to your needs.

Will therapy be confidential?

Yes, therapy is confidential. Your privacy is protected, except in cases where there’s risk of harm to yourself or others, which will be explained upfront.

I can’t afford therapy. Are there any payment options?

We charge $150 per hour. We do have limited sliding scale availability. If this is a need for you, please bring it up during our initial phone consultation. I do this based upon financial need of the person and upon factors related to my practice.

What if I’m just too busy to fit therapy into my schedule?

We offer flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend appointments, and virtual sessions for added convenience.

Will therapy be enough to solve my problems?

Therapy is highly effective, but it's often most beneficial when combined with self-care practices like healthy habits, mindfulness, and support from others.

It wasn't until I worked in group homes and day programs for people with disabilities that I discovered my passion for guiding others through life’s challenges.
